SLinT 2026 Board Election

We are pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 SLinT Board Elections, a pivotal moment in shaping the future of our organization both in Sierra Leone and across the global diaspora. In accordance with Article V and VI of the SLinT Bylaws, this process invites all registered members in good standing to participate either by voting or standing for nomination.

Why It Matters

Our board oversees SLinT’s strategic vision, governance, partnerships, and program development. As a volunteer-led nonprofit, SLinT thrives on committed leadership that reflects our community’s diversity, values, and professional expertise. These elections ensure transparency, accountability, and active member involvement in guiding the future of technology empowerment in and for Sierra Leone.

Available Positions

The following board positions are open for election this cycle:

  • President

  • Vice President

  • Director of Technology

  • Director of Finance

  • Director of Communication & Public Relations

  • Director of Member Services

  • Board Member (2 seats)

Per the bylaws, each officer shall serve a two-year term, with duties as defined in Article VI, including fiduciary oversight, strategic guidance, and community engagement.

Write-In Options

In addition to the nominated candidates listed on the ballot, members may vote for write-in candidates for any open roles. All write-ins must meet eligibility criteria as outlined in the SLinT Bylaws and be willing to serve.
