Aminata Kondeh is an accomplished IT professional with over two decades of experience spanning roles in systems analysis, cloud support, technical leadership, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as a Security Engineer at AccelerEd, she leverages her expertise to safeguard systems and improve operational efficiency for higher education institutions. Aminata has held pivotal roles throughout her career at leading organizations, including Computer Sciences Corporation (now DXC Technology), Blackboard Inc. (now Anthology), and the University of Maryland Global Campus, where she contributed to advancing technology solutions and fostering innovation.
As President of Sierra Leoneans in Technology (SLinT), a nonprofit organization, she leads initiatives that promote technology, innovation, and collaboration among technologists of Sierra Leonean descent. Her leadership in SLinT reflects her passion for bridging the digital divide and creating opportunities for sustainable development. Her vision for SLinT is rooted in a deep belief in technology’s transformative power and ability to uplift communities.
Aminata is also a managing partner at TpGroup Sierra Leone, where she focuses on TpISENT, an initiative dedicated to advancing education and technology solutions. Through TpISENT, she supports projects such as TpLEARN, an eLearning app designed to transform education access in Sierra Leone by providing interactive and user-friendly learning tools.
In addition to her professional and philanthropic pursuits, Aminata is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, bike riding, nature walks, and tennis. She is currently exploring new activities like kayaking and pickleball, embracing the joy of lifelong learning and active living.
She holds an associate degree in IT/Networking, a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, and a Master’s degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations. Her dedication to sustainability, diversity, and inclusion drives her mission to leave a lasting legacy that blends technological innovation with meaningful community impact.
